Urban Ministry Initiative Donation Form
Urban Ministry Initiative outreach ministry was launched by Rev. Richard Smith, a United Methodist minister, in January 2017 following his retirement from full-time ministry. Based on conversations with other concerned people of faith, Rev. Smith created the Urban Ministry Initiative to address the identified need in Memphis and Shelby County for increased awareness of and commitment to addressing critical urban, inner city issues, including poverty, racism, educational inequality as well as supporting front line ministries through funding and volunteerism.
